Dear Service Composition Members, Please find below the agenda for tomorrow's meeting at 2 pm. 1. Elections (I did not receive any new candidates at all for the lead and vice lead of the working group). * We shall find the modus operandi to get the vote squared away by next week latest. We will discuss the voting process or mechanism. 2. Discuss the mapping into the conceptual model of the BMaaS use case composition example from gaia-x self-descriptions. Please take a look at it, if you have time, and be ready to comment. It is uploaded at : * https://community.gaia-x.eu/f/14416756 and at : https://community.gaia-x.eu/f/14416752. * I know this is really short notice. Try if you can. Thanks in advance. * I will create a gitlab space for the working group and upload there for on line cooperation work, later on * (The BMaaS tutorial from the Service Characteristics working group is at: https://gitlab.com/gaia-x/gaia-x-community/gaia-x-self-descriptions/-/blob/… There are other tutorials and service offering examples... But they are just service offerings! So not that close to service composition. But it is good to start from them since they represent self descriptions and will allow us to link with other working groups directly) 3. Dear Members, The next meeting of the service composition working group is scheduled only for next week. *As I am on leave of absence this week, tomorrow's visio is cancelled. No meeting will take place. *Anyway we ("I") have to work on a preliminary model before next week... Last meeting, last week, we agreed on the priorities we should set for the service composition model derivation. It was agreed that we will start producing a model for the services envisaged and described in the service characteristics and infrastructure working groups. hence, likely BaaS and IaaS offerings and composition. In a second stage we will address a fully distributed set of more complex applications and services over multiple clouds and cloud providers, where multiple participants and hosting platforms are involved. I know that GAIA-X would like to have a preliminary model before the 12th of April. Assuming we can meet this target date, I will start with one that I will share with you by end of week. Concerning the election, on the 14th, we will try to wrap candidates list up. So far, we have myself as candidate for WG lead and we received one from Blanch Josep for vice lead. We welcome and call for more candidates. Please announce yourself as soon as possible so that we can try to finalize the elections by third week of April.
