Dear Members, *Just to let you know that there is no meeting today,* this afternoon. We need more time to meet the goal we set last week (checking if an exploitable catalog is available in the community or if we have to have a sample of our own to pursue the work) and to progress a bit more to *reconvene next week.* We are still in the process of analyzing what is available in terms of catalogs, service offerings descriptions in order to apply the service composition model to a use case. The catalog we have seen so far does not contain service offerings but providers characteristics and a listing of their services but there are no descriptions per say of services be them atomic, complex or macro. We are going to explore with other working groups working on service descriptions, descriptors and frameworks, how we can make use of their accomplishments. Especially service characteristics. I will get in touch with Christoph Lange to see if what they have in terms of ontology and service descriptions and if the structure is in a shape that we could use.
